Formada en los años setenta Simple Minds se ha convertido en una de las bandas más exitosas del Reino Unido, vendiendo más de 60 millones de discos en todo el mundo, con sencillos número uno en ambos lados del Atlántico y álbumes Top One.

Tras 40 años de carrera y siendo una de las bandas más  influyentes del mundo musical aún se divierten al salir de gira.
